The Quincy Development Corporation (QDC) is excited at the prospect of bringing a fruitful community garden to the residents of O’Brien Towers. This initiative was spearheaded by Holly Hill Farm in Cohasset, MA, who was the proud recipient of a Liberty Mutual climate resiliency grant to fund the project. O’Brien Towers is pleased to be a host site to make this initiative possible. The project, which will consist of 18 beds with a diverse selection of crops will offer the residents in opportunity to build community and harvest fresh produce right in their own back yards! The QDC is grateful to be working with Holly Hill Farm for the installation and in the future to implement educational programming for adults and youth that will be held throughout the growing season.
