The afternoon of October 3, 2025, Mayor Thomas P. Koch joined the Quincy Housing authority and the Quincy Housing development corporation to break ground on 16 new affordable homes at Mariners Cove, 73 Bicknell Street in the Germantown neighborhood of Quincy. This exciting project continues the mission of Quincy housing development corporation of creating opportunities for families. Other current initiatives include affordable homes and 74 Bower Road, 9 Northfield Avenue, and a new emergency trailer to provide housing relief for families facing hardship after floods, fires, and other disasters.
